It was a boring winter day at Zoomie’s office when his boss excitedly entered his office and exclaimed “Zoomie we got the job! Ferrari wants us to design the speedometer for their new Formula 1 car!”  Zoomie was super excited, as he had helped with the proposal and had been waiting very anxiously for news.



Zoomie started his research on Formula 1 drivers and how they use the speedometer in car races. After long days and hours of research and interviews, he decided to go to Italy. Zoomie had realized that Formula 1 drivers use the speedometer in very particular ways, and for him to truly...madly...deeply...understand the dynamic between driver, speedometer, pit crew, and the entire Formular 1 system, he needed to see it and study it in action with his own eyes.
