Zoomie uses Cognitive Theory
After waiting for job offers for 2 months, Zoomie hadn't talked to one potential employer! His stomach was starting to hurt from living on ramen noodles and University Teriyaki, and he was experiencing Reddit withdrawal because his internet had been cut off. He needed a job, and fast! But Zoomie couldn't figure out why his portfolio wasn't causing employers to throw money at him - he had applied Cognitive Theory to every piece of his site!

One thing was for sure: Zoomie needed to get a job. He broke down and decided to rework his portfolio, but only after revisiting what he learned about Cognitive Theory.

Zoomie pulled up some readings he had kept around from his course on HCI theory - thank god Professor Zachry had given him all those pdfs - and started researching. He quickly realized that he had attempted to simply apply basic-research Cognitive Theory to his site without considering that it might not directly apply to real-world interfaces. How could he have been so naive!
